The Geminid meteor shower will peak on the nights of December 13–14, 2025, with the best viewing hours being after midnight until pre-dawn, especially around 2 a.m. You can see it from both hemispheres with the naked eye by getting away from city lights and looking up at the sky for an hour or more, preferably while lying on a blanket or chair.

Day 1: Arrival & Stargazing Begins

    •    08:33 am: Board the CST-Kasara train. Adventure starts here—meet fellow travelers! ( for those coming by train )

    •    11:15 am: Meet your tour leader at Kasara and hop onto a comfortable vehicle. ( for those coming by train )

    •    12:00 pm: Enjoy a lunch halt at a local restaurant—perfect for a quick recharge. 

    •    03:30 pm: Arrive at the serene Bhandardara campsite. Refresh, settle in, and soak up the vibes.

    •    04:00 pm: Take a guided to village sightseeing. Explore the charm of rural Maharashtra!

    •    07:30 pm: The first stargazing session begins! Witness planets, star clusters, and constellations through professional telescopes.

    •    09:30 pm: Savor a hearty dinner by the campfire.

    •    11:00 pm: Head back for another stargazing session under the clearest skies.

Day 2: Trekking and Morning Stargazing

    •    01:00 am: Stargazing session ends—rest and rejuvenate under a sky full of stars.

    •    04:30 am: Early risers, rejoice! A magical morning stargazing session awaits.

    •    06:30 am: Enjoy tea and a light breakfast amidst nature.
